A MINDFUL movement PRACTICE GOES A LONG WAY
Humani was created with a simple idea: no matter how many things you’re juggling, you deserve a movement practice that helps you move better, feel better, and brings you joy.
Consistently taking time for yourself to connect to your body is essential for your overall health.
Our goal is to educate and connect. We aim to guide you to not only get the physical benefits of Pilates, but to help you understand the why behind what you’re doing. This will help you connect to your body in a new way, and help you move through life feeling stronger.
Our approach builds on the work of Joseph Pilates and an understanding of functional movement, biomechanics, and the nervous system’s role in your practice. We carefully select exercises that strengthen, mobilize, and move the body’s major joints and muscles — especially those that surround the spine, hips and shoulders. Our strategic layering of exercises helps your body become more agile, stronger, and your nervous system more focused. All of this helps your body retain the new information and embody your new skills outside of the studio walls.
Our expert instruction and small class sizes help you advance your practice, while a variety of class levels and types allow you to choose the class that’s right for you.
Our studio is designed to be the space you need to leave everything at the door and focus on yourself.
